Anchoring and Shoring

MPC covers a wide range of remote work that puts us out in the climate and weather. Anything from snow to sun and 13,000 feet elevation to sea level. Job location often involve intensive hiking and packing of tooling and materials. While performing work in these environments all hazardous waste and materials are contained and kept to standards and guidelines as MPC demands a clean and healthy jobsite.

While performing on certain jobsites it may include helicopter work. This may include picking up objects, material, and personnel.  All persons involved in helicopter operations are certified to rig the loads and to direct helicopter pilots into correct location or area of picking and landing locations.

Slopes and mountains tend to erode and give away. MPC offers a hand full of operations to protect roadways, railroads, and other scenarios of erosion. Repairs and proposals include shotcrete, rock fencing, soil nails, removing loose or instable objects, known as scaling for temporary fix.

Anchoring and shoring projects are a form of stabilization. Order of operations consist of drilling a hole at a determined diameter and then to install an approved anchor, epoxy or grout it in.  Once the material meets strength an approved pressure is then calibrated to engage against the slope using the anchoring system given. This process and or others similar will be repeated as plan describes until scope of work meets requirements of engineering and ground coverage

Ski Lift Work

Avalanche control work is to prevent natural avalanches around highways or public and private parks producing safe access and adventures to all. The work performed is primarily on installing and maintenance of avalanches control systems.

In order to access and work on various job sites, we performed a rope access technique. With rope work comes a lot of certifications and safety guidelines. Here at MPC we meet all qualifications for rope rescue and rope work. Employees do refreshers on rope access regularly. Certifications include rope access, Sprat, and Irata which are the highest of qualifications.

Forms and concrete work is another scope of work that we perform. Forms consists of wood or aluminum depending on the dimension of  the new structure or form. While forming precise and accurate measurements and elevations are made for a clean and plumb pour are secured. Once the forms are buttoned up we then install internal rebar and anchors to provide maximum strength. Concrete specifications are made up from job to job to provide the most strength and success.

we offer a range of solutions from installing new lifts to rebuilding and retrofitting existing lifts and we also services gondolas, coasters,  zip lines,  t-bars, cable bridges, magic carpets and lookouts towers.
